Viña Errazuriz ascended to 5th position in Drinks International’s list of the world’s top 50 Most Admired Wine Brands, improving its performance achieved in 2016 when it debuted in 7th position.
Drinks International releases its ‘World’s Most Admired Wine Brands’ list each year, polling more than 200 of the world’s top masters of wine, sommeliers, commercial wine buyers, educators and journalists. The academy of judges is asked to vote in the annual survey for the brands they most admire based on: consistent and/or improving quality; it should reflect its region or country; it should be well marketed and packaged and have broad appeal among wine consumers.
The World’s Most Admired Wine Brands editor, Holly Motion, comments: ‘With the sheer number of wine brands out there, being voted one of the top 50 most admired is a great achievement.’
