Raising a glass to BAFTA

Long-term BAFTA partners Champagne Taittinger and Villa Maria were the toast of the stars at the 2024 BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises, which was held once again at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 12th May.

Celebrating the very best of television broadcast on British screens in 2023, the ceremony was attended by stars such as Helena Bonham-Carter and Jeff Goldblum.

Red carpet guests enjoyed a glass of Taittinger Brut Réserve before the winners were revealed at the Awards ceremony itself. 

Hosting duo Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan returned, with musical performances by Ella Eyre. This year’s Leading Actor was Timothy Spall, the Leading Actress was Sarah Lancashire and the winner of Best Drama Series was Top Boy.

Following the Awards ceremony, the winners, nominees and guests sat down to dinner, with Villa Maria Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir served alongside the following menu.

STARTER
Marinated nutbourne tomatoes with black olive tapenade and whipped feta (vegan)

MAIN
Pan-roasted chicken with pumpkin and sweet potato croquette and kohlrabi, sugar snap and parsley slaw

VEGAN MAIN
Shawarma spiced cauliflower with spring greens and garlic and lemon gremolata

DESSERT
Dark chocolate TV with elderflower cremieux and strawberry and elderflower compote
