Environmental Responsibility

Vidal is dedicated to environmentally friendly winemaking and sustainable winegrowing practices. 

It was a founding member of the Living Wine group, a small group of wineries who gained ISO 14001 certification in 1998. 

Since then, as a member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand, the team at Vidal have continued to challenge themselves to keep their vineyard and winemaking practises as close to nature as possible. They strongly believe quality wine comes from grapes and vines nourished by healthy soils and balanced ecosystems.
