Bourgogne Chardonnay ‘Clos de la Chapelle’ 2021 6x75cl

Bourgogne

An aromatic and fruity Chardonnay - fleshy and refreshing with an excellent finish. Beautiful with shellfish dishes.

Vineyards

The Domaine Romy is a property of 30 hectares in the area of the 'Pierres Dorées' in the south of Beaujolais. This Chardonnay is made from vines located on Morancé hill.

Vintage

2021 vintage was difficult but, ultimately, surprisingly successful.

Winemaking

The grapes are pressed and a controlled, cool fermentation takes place immediately in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is only partial to retain some of the crispness. Bottling happens after 8 months.

Enjoy with:

  • Grilled and Roasted White Meats
  • Fish/Shellfish
  • Pizza/Pasta
  • Salads and Picnics
  • Mild Creamy Cheeses
  • Mature Strong Cheeses
Try it as an aperitif or on fish and shellfish dishes.
