A rich and flavoursome Shiraz displaying all the hallmarks of the varietal: vibrant red fruits, dark plum and spice with underlying soft tannins.

Vineyards

Containing some of the higher, cooler vineyard sites in the state, the Central Ranges is an important, recently designated wine-growing zone. It is sometimes better known for the regions it comprises: running north to south along the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range (and in descending order of size): Mudgee, Orange and Cowra.

Vintage

A happy vintage with a combination of warm and moderate weather in January to March that helped grapes reach their full potential. A lovely vintage that really brings out the perfume and juiciness of this wine.

Winemaking

Traditional red wine vinification in stainless steel tanks in order to retain as much fruit flavour profile as possible.
