In addition to these vineyard holdings, Louis Jadot have long term contracts with many vineyard owners including Domaine du Duc de Magenta in Puligny and Chassagne Montrachet and monopoles such as Volnay 1er Cru ‘Clos de la Barre’. In addition, Jadot use their own nursery.
In recent years there has been a move in the Côte d’Or towards a more organic and biodynamic style of viticulture and a viticultural philosophy of minimal intervention. In addition, they have re-established their own nursery to expand the breadth and diversity of the available vine material and reverted to the traditional ‘field selection’ from their own vines.
