Ad Hoc Cruel Mistress Pinot Noir 2023 6x75cl
The nose shows graphite, minerals and juicy black cherries. A hint of spicy oak plays a supporting role. The palate is softley textured, fresh and vibrant with flavours of black cherry and earthy beetroot. The wine has a soft, silky finish.
Vineyards
Sourced from various locations in the Great Southern, with different aspects. The soil consists of Granite and Laterite.
Vintage
The 2023 vintage in Western Australia produced some exceptional wines, with cool temperatures throughout the region allowing grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, resulting in wines with fully developed flavours and deep colour and complexity in the red varieties.
Winemaking
The fruit was fermented using a combination of wild fermentation, selected yeasts and 1-3 year old French oak for 6 months prior to bottling.
