Clean and bright cherry red colour. The nose is intense, floral and mineral. The palate is fresh, with good acidity, concentration and a long finish.

Vineyards

The soil is granitic and because of its mountainous location, the only way to work the land is Hand or with the help of animals. Sustainable viticulture is carried out.

Vintage

The 2019 vintage in Val do Bibei was marked by late budding of the vines, which caused a slow and late ripening process. Optimal harvest time during the third week of September, characterized by a dry summer, with low yield. A cold year marked by good acidity and salinity, giving us indications of great ageing capacity.

Winemaking

Hand harvest into 15kg crates permits selection of the grapes in the vineyard and is then followed by whole bunch fermentation in small oak vessels. Fermentation is completed using the yeasts naturally present on the grapes.
