Produced with grapes from the Moradillo de Roa in Ribera, this is a refined wine showing great finesse.

Vineyards

From terrace vineyards which are composed of gravel, silt, and sandy loam soil. The soils are of variable depth with a medium-high level of limestone.

Vintage

The 2020 campaign has been marked by a greater volume of rainfall as well as slightly lower temperatures than in other years, leading to fresher wines. In a key stage such as ripening, both the slightly lower temperatures and the rainfall helped us to make it longer, giving rise to a calm and gradual grape harvest.

Winemaking

Hand harvesting in 10kg cases, processed in stainless steel tanks with cold pre-fermentation maceration for 4 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation also takes places in stainless steel tanks. Once completed, the wine was then aged in French oak barrels for 15 months. Selected yeast.
