M. CHAPOUTIER and Mentzendorff & Co have agreed that following a long and successful 25-year partnership their respective strategic directions have evolved and changed. In light of this, from 1st April 2020, M. CHAPOUTIER will have a new distribution arrangement in the UK.
M. CHAPOUTIER would like to thank Mentzendorff & Co for their development of the market during this period and Mentzendorff & Co wishes M. CHAPOUTIER all the best for its future in the UK.
From 1st April 2020, Hatch Mansfield will be the UK distributor of the M. CHAPOUTIER portfolio of wines.
For the last two hundred years in the Rhône Valley and further afield, the Chapoutier family have been producing some of the greatest, renowned wines from the around the world.
All their own vineyards and the single vineyards they select are cultivated according to organic or biodynamic principles to respect the terroir.
Hatch Mansfield will be responsible for distributing wines from the M. Chapoutier portfolio from France and Germany, including:
- M.CHAPOUTIER in the Rhône with wines from the Fac & Spera, Excellence, Prestige and Tradition ranges;
- Mathilde Chapoutier Sélection;
- Château des Ferrages in Côte de Provence Sainte-Victoire;
- Domaine de Bila-Haut in the Côtes-du-Roussillon;
- Marius in the Pays d’Oc;
- Schieferkopf from the Rhine basin, including Alsace & Germany

Following nine years of Hatch Mansfield developing the Jean Luc Colombo brand in the UK, Jean Luc Colombo will be moving from the Hatch Mansfield portfolio on 31st March 2020.

CHAPOUTIER joins the Hatch Mansfield portfolio of wines, which includes Champagne Taittinger, Louis Jadot, Terroirs et Talents, Joseph Mellot, CVNE, Viña Errazuriz, Caliterra, Domaine Carneros, Robert Oatley, Villa Maria, Esk Valley, Vidal, Left Field, Kleine Zalze, Gaja and Zuccardi (the latest two new additions in 2019).
