10th July 2019 – Hatch Mansfield was last night awarded the trophy for Large Agent of the Year at the International Wine Challenge (IWC). This trophy is awarded to an agent with a turnover of more than £5m.
Hatch Mansfield is “truly a business that works for its producers”, according to the IWC judges. “It is still taking on significant winemaking talent 25 years after being established and works hard to put the producers at the heart of its business.”
The International Wine Challenge (IWC) owned by William Reed Business Media is now in its 36th year and is accepted as one of the world’s finest and most meticulously judged wine competition which assesses every wine blind and judges each for its faithfulness to style, region and vintage.
Patrick McGrath, Managing Director of Hatch Mansfield commented “We are thrilled to have received this award, particularly as we are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year”.
He went on to say “This prestigious award is judged by buyers and business men and women from across the Wine Industry and there are some very successful agents in the UK so to be selected as the winner is a great accolade indeed. The award is a testament to all the hard work the Hatch team put in year in and year out along with the fantastic support we get from our all our wine suppliers, customers and friend, it is all very much a team effort .”
