Nominees and guests toasted the best of British film talent at the 21st British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) with Taittinger Nocturne. Held at Old Billingsgate on Sunday 2nd December 2018, this year’s awards were hosted by Russell Tovey and were attended by many of the UK’s leading stars from the big screen, along with the amazing talent from behind the scenes who all work together to make the best of British Film.
Dame Judi Dench was presented with the 2018 Richard Harris Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Actor to British Film.
Roma won the only category of the night open to non-UK films, Best International Independent Film which is sponsored by Champagne Taittinger – proud partner to the BIFA.
The Favourite won a record ten awards including Best British Film.
