Pierre-Henry Gagey, President at Louis Jadot, is delighted to announce that Maison Louis Jadot has acquired the historic Burgundian estate, Domaine Prieur-Brunet in Santenay.
Domaine Prieur-Brunet was founded at the beginning of the 19th century by Claude and Jean Prieur and today it is run by Dominique Prieur and her son Guillaume, representing the 8th generation of the family.
Domaine Prieur-Brunet includes 18 hectares of beautiful vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, predominantly in Santenay, but also covering Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune. Some of their illustrious parcels from Santenay 1er Cru Maladière or Clos Faubard will add to Maison Louis Jadot’s growing portfolio in Santenay. Amongst others these include Clos de Malte and Clos de Gatsulards. The team at Maison Louis Jadot are committed to ensuring the continuity of the work undertaken by the Prieur family over the last two centuries.
Further updates will follow in the Autumn.
