The World’s Best Vineyards 2021 were recently announced, with Zuccardi taking the top spot for the third year running.
The entries are judged on the experience offered to visitors by an “Academy” of almost 600 global wine and travel experts. The awards are organised by William Reed Business Media who ensure at least 25% of the panellists from each region change each year to ensure fresh perspectives and Zuccardi have held this winning position since the inaugural awards in 2019.
The list of finalists at https://www.worldsbestvineyards.com/the-list makes reference to Zuccardi’s continued work into research and development as well as the onsite restaurant, Piedra Infinita Cocina, as being key factors in the result, in addition to the vineyards and stunning winery itself.
Champagne Taittinger also made it into the upper end of the list, placing at number thirteen for the unique experience of a private tour of the cellars which leads you 18 metres underground via a spiral staircase into this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
