Villa Maria Estate is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Deller MW as Chief Global Sales and Marketing Officer.
Matt joins Villa Maria with over 20 years global experience in the wine industry and holds the coveted Master of Wine certification. Matt is returning home to New Zealand after seven years in the USA. Previous to joining Villa Maria he was Chief Operating Officer for the prestigious Napa Valley winery TOR; prior to that he ran sales and sourcing for leading e-commerce retailer Wine Access, and Director of Fine Wine Development and NZ Portfolio Sales Director on the Global Marketing Team for Constellation Brands Inc. based in San Francisco.
Regarding the appointment, Villa Maria CEO Justin Liddell said “Matt brings a wealth of experience in global distribution expansion and strategic wine marketing, and we are delighted he has chosen to join us at Villa Maria.”
